I. Viyana Ku\u015fatmas\u0131, 27 Eyl\u00fcl-16 Ekim 1529 tarihlerinde Avusturya Ar\u015fid\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc’n\u00fcn ba\u015fkenti Viyana’n\u0131n Kanuni Sultan S\u00fcleyman komutas\u0131ndaki Osmanl\u0131 ordusu taraf\u0131ndan ku\u015fat\u0131lmas\u0131d\u0131r. Ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131z olan ku\u015fatma sonucunda kale al\u0131namam\u0131\u015f ve Osmanl\u0131 ordusu \u0130stanbul’a geri d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc b\u00fcy\u00fck toplar\u0131n getirilmemesi ve k\u0131\u015f aylar\u0131n\u0131n gelmesi \u00fczerine ku\u015fatma kald\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131 ve ordu geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

II. Viyana Ku\u015fatmas\u0131, 1683 y\u0131l\u0131nda IV. Mehmet devrinde Osmanl\u0131 Devleti’nin Viyana’y\u0131 ku\u015fatmas\u0131 ile ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti. 17. y\u00fczy\u0131lda Osmanl\u0131 Devleti ile Avusturya aras\u0131nda yap\u0131lan sava\u015flar\u0131n en uzun s\u00fcreni bu ku\u015fatmas\u0131 ile ba\u015flad\u0131.<\/p>\n

Osmanl\u0131’n\u0131n bu sava\u015fta ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 hezimet Avrupa’da b\u00fcy\u00fck sevin\u00e7le kar\u015f\u0131land\u0131. Art\u0131k Osmanl\u0131lar\u0131n yenilmez olmad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6ren Avrupa, kar\u015f\u0131 h\u00fccuma kalkmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Psikolojik sava\u015f olarak da Osmanl\u0131 \u00fczerinde b\u00fcy\u00fck bir kay\u0131p, Avrupal\u0131larda ise b\u00fcy\u00fck bir kazan\u00e7 olarak de\u011ferlendirildi.Bu sava\u015f sonucunda Osmanl\u0131n\u0131n gerileme devrine girdi\u011fi kabul edilmektedir.<\/p>\n

\u00c7erkes day\u0131, 1. Viyana sokaklar\u0131ndan birinde, tarihi bir binan\u0131n k\u00f6\u015fesine kondurulmu\u015f bir heykel yer al\u0131yor: \u00c7erkes Day\u0131 Heykeli. K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck, ancak hepsi birbirinin benzeri gotik binalarla dolu \u015fehirde g\u00f6zlerden ka\u00e7mayacak derecede “Osmanl\u0131” g\u00f6r\u00fcnen heykelin hikayesi ise rivayete g\u00f6re \u015f\u00f6yle: \u00c7erkes Day\u0131 adl\u0131 Osmanl\u0131 askeri, Viyana’n\u0131n kap\u0131lar\u0131ndan birine d\u00fc\u015fen topun a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131 gedikten i\u00e7eriye yal\u0131n k\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 dalar.
