On yedinci as\u0131rda yaz\u0131lan eserler aras\u0131nda tarih bak\u0131m\u0131ndan oldu\u011fu kadar medeniyet tarihi ve folklor bak\u0131m\u0131ndan en m\u00fchim kaynaklardan biri olan bu eserin ilk alt\u0131 cildi Ikdam matbaas\u0131nda (Matbaa ve ikdam gazetesi sahibi Mahmut Sad\u0131k bey \u00c7erkes&#8217;ti) tabedilmi\u015fti. Bu ciltler gerek \u015fark ve gerek garp ulemas\u0131nca b\u00fcy\u00fck ra\u011fbete mazhar olmu\u015f ve g\u00fc\u00e7 tedarik edilebilen eserler aras\u0131na girmi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p>1640 tarihinde G\u00fcrcistan ve Mingrelya&#8217;ya gitmi\u015f, oradan Karadeniz k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 takip ederek Abhazya&#8217;y\u0131 ve en nihayet Kuban&#8217;da Anapa&#8217;y\u0131 ge\u00e7tikten soma Azak kalesine varm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Azak kalesi Osmanl\u0131lar taraf\u0131ndan muhasara alt\u0131nda bir Rus kalesi idi. Ge\u00e7ti\u011fi yollan, k\u00f6yleri, kasabalar\u0131 ve temas etti\u011fi memleket ahalisini yak\u0131ndan ara\u015ft\u0131ran ve notlar tutan Evliya \u00c7elebi; Abhazya \u00c7erkeslerinin \u00f6rf, adet, ahlak ve ananelerini, n\u00fcfuslar\u0131n\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rm\u0131\u015f, Abhazya kabilelerini birer birer saym\u0131\u015f, bunlar hakk\u0131nda malumat vermi\u015f, annesi Abaza \u00c7erkes&#8217;i oldu\u011fu halde annesinin dilini bilmeyen Evliya; bu dil hakk\u0131nda tuhaf ve anla\u015f\u0131lmaz bir dil demi\u015ftir.<br \/>\nDilden dile dola\u015fan dedikodulara ve uydurma haberlere pek fazla inanan, konular\u0131 dallay\u0131p budaklamay\u0131 seven, haddinden fazla kendini kapt\u0131rm\u0131\u015f olan, ge\u00e7mi\u015ften g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze gelen masallar\u0131 ve hikayeleri nakletmekten zevk alan bir insand\u0131. Azak kalesinde bir m\u00fcddet kald\u0131ktan sonra \u0130stanbul&#8217;a d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p>1647&#8217;de Evliya; ikinci bir seyahate \u00e7\u0131kar. Erzurum\u2019dan Erivan&#8217;a ve oradan Azerbaycan\u2019a, oradan da \u015eimali Kafkasya\u2019da Hazar denizi kenar\u0131nda bulunan Derbent&#8217;e gelir. Da\u011f\u0131stan\u2019\u0131 gezdikten sonra Tiflis\u2019e ve tekrar Erzurum\u2019a d\u00f6ner. Derbent\u2019e dair verdi\u011fi malumat, kendisinden bir ka\u00e7 sene evvel bu memleketi gezmi\u015f olan Adam Olearius&#8217;un izahat\u0131na uyar. Derbent\u2019in binalar\u0131, tarihi eserleri, Derbent kalesi ve seddi hakk\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131klamalar ile Lezgiler hakk\u0131nda bilgi verir. G\u00fcrcistan hakk\u0131nda bir \u00e7ok notlar al\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>1666&#8217;da Evliya, gene Kafkas hududundad\u0131r. Bu sefer Avrupa seyahatine \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bulgaristan, S\u0131rbistan, Avusturya-Macaristan, Romanya&#8217;y\u0131 gezdikten sonra Karadeniz&#8217;in kuzeyinden ge\u00e7erek Kafkasya&#8217;ya gelmi\u015fti. Taman yar\u0131madas\u0131na ayak bast\u0131ktan sonra bu seferde Kafkasya&#8217;y\u0131 \u015fimalden cenuba do\u011fru seyahatini yapm\u0131\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Seyahatnamenin yedinci cildini dolduran bu seyahat hat\u0131ralar\u0131 kuzey Kafkasya&#8217;n\u0131n etnografik, co\u011frafik, dil, din, \u00f6rf ve adetleri, tarihleri ve burada ya\u015fayan \u00c7erkeslerin medeniyetleri bak\u0131m\u0131ndan enteresan bilgiler veriyor ve bu meyanda kuzey Kafkasya&#8217;n\u0131n etnik s\u0131n\u0131r\u0131n\u0131n Taman yar\u0131madas\u0131ndan ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kesin bir dille a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131yor. Taman kalesi ve Taman yar\u0131madas\u0131 hakk\u0131nda malumat veriyor. Oradaki \u00fc\u00e7 kaleden de bahsediyor. Sahil yolu ile Anapa&#8217;ya u\u011fruyor, oradan Kafkas da\u011flar\u0131n\u0131n kuzeyinden ge\u00e7erek Ba\u015ftav&#8217;a kadar (Ba\u015ftav bir da\u011f\u0131n ad\u0131d\u0131r) \u00c7erkes dallar\u0131n\u0131 (kabilelerini) birer birer anlat\u0131yor, oradaki kaleler hakk\u0131nda izahat veriyor (Kuleleri olsa gerek. P\u015fiz (kuban) nehri ile bir \u00e7ok nehirler ve Elbruz (O\u015fhamafe &#8211; u\u011furlu da\u011f) da\u011f\u0131 ve Terek havzas\u0131 hakk\u0131nda malumat veriyor. Oradan Ku\u015fhalar (Asetin), \u00c7e\u00e7en ve \u0130ngu\u015flar m\u0131nt\u0131kas\u0131na ge\u00e7iyor, onlar hakk\u0131nda tafsilat al\u0131yor ve not defterine yaz\u0131yor. Kitab\u0131na ge\u00e7iriyor Da\u011f\u0131stan&#8217;a u\u011fruyor. Kuba\u00e7\u0131 kuyumculuk kasabas\u0131 ve Da\u011f\u0131stan hakk\u0131nda malumat veriyor. Derbende ge\u00e7iyor ve yirmi sene evvel u\u011frad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu \u015fehirde bir \u00e7ok yenilikler g\u00f6r\u00fcyor. Oradan bir Acem (tran) gemisine binerek Hazar denizinde Terek kalesine ge\u00e7mek istiyor. Fakat kuzey r\u00fczgarlar\u0131ndan \u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fc gidemiyor, Bak\u00fc&#8217;ye d\u00f6n\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n<p>Evliya \u00c7elebi; Bir az Bak\u00fc&#8217;de kald\u0131ktan sonra Hazar denizi yolu ile Astrahan&#8217;a ge\u00e7mek, \u0130dil -Ural havzas\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6rmek, eski Alt\u0131nordu topraklar\u0131n\u0131 gezmek istiyor. Bak\u00fc liman\u0131nda y\u00fczlerce t\u00fcccar gemisi (m\u00fcbala\u011fal\u0131) Bak\u00fc, Derbent ve Astrahan aras\u0131ndaki \u015fimalden, Kaylan taraflar\u0131na g\u00fcneyde i\u015fliyorlard\u0131. Evliya havay\u0131 m\u00fcsait g\u00f6r\u00fcnce kuzey taraflar\u0131n\u0131 ge\u00e7mek istedi. Denize a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131. Fakat yine deniz dalgaland\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan Sun\u00e7 nehrine iltica ediyor, oradan Terek kalesine ge\u00e7iyor. Bu sefer bu kaleyi ve kuzey Kafkasya&#8217;n\u0131n Hazar denizi havzas\u0131n\u0131 geziyor ve notlar tutuyor. Hazar denizi ile Karadeniz ve Marmara denizi ile Akdeniz gibi gezdi\u011fi denizler aras\u0131nda birde mukayese yap\u0131yor ve Kuzey Kafkas hakk\u0131ndaki intibalar\u0131n\u0131 bu suretle sona erdiriyor. Hazar denizi yolu ile Astrahan\u2019a gidiyor, bu b\u00f6lgede ya\u015fayan insanlar ile daha a\u015fa\u011f\u0131daki Karmuklar hakk\u0131nda malumat veriyor.<\/p>\n<p>Evliya \u00c7elebi\u2019nin gezdi\u011fi memleketler hakk\u0131nda yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 Seyahatname ad\u0131ndaki hat\u0131ralar, hi\u00e7 bir yabanc\u0131 seyahatnamesinde g\u00f6r\u00fclmeyecek kadar \u00f6nemli ve kapsaml\u0131d\u0131r. Medeniyet ve tarih i\u00e7in oldu\u011fu kadar co\u011frafya, dil ve halkbilimi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan seyahatname biliminsanlar\u0131 i\u00e7in bir hazinedir. Bat\u0131 biliminsan\u0131 Profes\u00f6r Techner&#8217;in Anadolu Yollar\u0131 kitab\u0131n\u0131n yegane mehezi bu seyahatname oldu\u011fu gibi (Osmanl\u0131 Devleti&#8217;nin Tarihi) adl\u0131 kitab\u0131n yazar\u0131 J.V. Hammer; kitab\u0131 i\u00e7in bu seyahatnameyi ilk mehez olarak ele alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Mortmann, Hartmann ve profes\u00f6r Mentchel gibi m\u00fcellifler bu eserden \u00e7ok faydalanm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Evliya \u00c7elebi seyahatnamesini ara\u015ft\u0131ran eden yazarlar\u0131n lehte ve aleyhte olmak \u00fczere kanaatlar\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fmektedir. Bu b\u00fcy\u00fck seyyah\u0131n yaz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 pek m\u00fcbala\u011fal\u0131 yaz\u0131lar, yanl\u0131\u015f g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fler, uydurma masallar ve hikayeler oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylerler. Macar Alimi Sekf\u00fc Gyula; Evliya \u00c7elebi&#8217;nin seyahatnamesine, insanlara ho\u015f vakit ge\u00e7irmek ve e\u011flenmek i\u00e7in g\u00fczel bir roman der. Alim J. Deny, seyahatnamenin abart\u0131l\u0131 ve hatal\u0131 olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen bol bilgi ve materiyalleri de ihtiva etti\u011fi fikrindedir. Evliya \u00c7elebi&#8217;nin hayali ve duyuma dayal\u0131 seyahatnamenin efsane ve hikayelerinin bir k\u0131sm\u0131 uydurma ve m\u00fcbala\u011fal\u0131, \u015fi\u015firilmi\u015f, bir k\u0131s\u0131m g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerinin yanl\u0131\u015f ve kelime hatalar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7ok olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen b\u00fcy\u00fck bir k\u0131ymet ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131 muhakkakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Evliya \u00c7elebi&#8217;nin Kuzey Kafkasya&#8217;y\u0131 ilgilendiren yedinci cildinin el yazmas\u0131 olarak Istanbul&#8217;da be\u015f n\u00fcshas\u0131 vard\u0131r:<\/p>\n<p><b>1)<\/b> Haci Be\u015fir efendi k\u00fct\u00fcphanesi, Darusse-ade a\u011fas\u0131 Hac\u0131 Be\u015fir efendi bu n\u00fcshay\u0131 1158 hicri senesinde (1747 M.) vakfetmi\u015fti. Haremeyni \u015feri-feyn evkaf\u0131 m\u00fcfetti\u015fi Mehmet Emin efendinin el yaz\u0131s\u0131d\u0131r. En do\u011fru n\u00fcsha bu n\u00fcshad\u0131r. Bu k\u00fct\u00fcphane halen S\u00fcleymaniye k\u00fct\u00fcphanesine nakledilmi\u015ftir. Bu n\u00fcsha 1155 hicri (1744 M. 9) senedinde yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r-<br \/>\n<b>2)<\/b> Pertev pa\u015fa k\u00fct\u00fcphanesi. 1155 hicri (1744 M.) senesinde Ahmet efendi ad\u0131nda bir zat yazm\u0131\u015f. Bir \u00e7ok yanl\u0131\u015fl\u0131klarla doludur. Bu k\u00fct\u00fcphane Fatihte Millet k\u00fct\u00fcphanesine nakledildi.<br \/>\n<b>3) <\/b>Topkap\u0131 saray\u0131nda olup \u0130brahim Belbisi taraf\u0131ndan M\u0131s\u0131rda yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f (1032 h. ve 1622 m.) ve M\u0131s\u0131r Sultan\u0131 \u00d6zbek o\u011flu \u0130brahim taraf\u0131ndan vakfe-dilmi\u015ftir. Bundada yanl\u0131\u015fl\u0131klar vard\u0131r.<br \/>\n<b>4) <\/b>Bu n\u00fcsha Ayd\u0131nl\u0131 Mustafa taraf\u0131ndan 1177 hicri (1766 M.) senesinde yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olup Topkap\u0131 saray\u0131ndad\u0131r. Fena yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f bir n\u00fcshad\u0131r.<br \/>\n<b>5) <\/b>Bun da Topkap\u0131 saray\u0131nda Ba\u011fdat k\u00f6\u015fk\u00fc<br \/>\nn\u00fcn k\u00fct\u00fcphanesindedir. 1155 hicri (1744 M) sene<br \/>\nsinde \u0130brahim \u00e7avu\u015f taraf\u0131ndan yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olup bir<br \/>\naz bozuk\u00e7a bir n\u00fcshad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor ki bu yazma n\u00fcshalar\u0131n en iyisi Mehmet Emin efendinin el yaz\u0131s\u0131d\u0131r. Hatta T\u00fcrk Tarih kurumunun yay\u0131nlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ciltlerdede bu yanl\u0131\u015fl\u0131k devam etmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130kdam matbas\u0131\u0131 sahibi Mahmut Sad\u0131k beyin ne\u015fretti\u011fi alt\u0131 ciltten artakalan d\u00f6rt cildi, T\u00fcrk Tarih ens\u00fcmeninin me\u015fk\u00fbr mesaisi ile 1928 tarihinde bast\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve bu suretle cilt noksanl\u0131klar\u0131 tamamlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Avrupa k\u00fct\u00fcphanelerinde ise seyahatnamenin her on cildi de mevcuttur.
