Anayurtlar\u0131 ile ba\u011flar\u0131 kopuk, muhacerette 112. y\u0131llar\u0131n\u0131 doldurmakta olan \u00c7erkeslerin maruz kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcr asimilasyonunun gittik\u00e7e h\u0131zland\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcne al\u0131narak, ulusumuzun b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc ve gelece\u011fini zedeleyici her t\u00fcrl\u00fc karga\u015fal\u0131\u011fa son vermek i\u00e7in &#8221;tek vatan tek ulus&#8221; ilkesine s\u0131k\u0131ca sar\u0131lmak gerekmektedir. Vatan Abhaz\u0131yla, Adigesiyle, Asetiniyle, Lezgisiyle, \u00c7e\u00e7en&#8217;iyle, Kara\u00e7ay\u0131yla, Wub\u0131h\u0131yla t\u00fcm Kafkas halklar\u0131n\u0131 bar\u0131nd\u0131ran Kuzey Kafkasya&#8217;d\u0131r. Buna en geni\u015f anlamda &#8221;<b>\u00c7erkesya<\/b>&#8221; diyebiliriz.<\/p>\n<p>\u015eu hususu hat\u0131rlatmakta fayda vard\u0131r. \u00c7erkes kelimesinin kitaplarda ge\u00e7en anlam\u0131yla siyasi anlam\u0131 farkl\u0131d\u0131r. Bu bak\u0131mdan \u00f6ncelikle yan\u0131lg\u0131lara yol a\u00e7an bu iki anlama a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131k kazand\u0131rmak gerekmektedir. Bilimsel\u00a0\u00a0 nitelikteki bir eserde \u00c7erkes kelimesinin kapsam\u0131 \u00e7ok dar tutulmu\u015ftur. Bunun nedenini anlayabilmek i\u00e7in \u00c7erkes kelimesinin k\u00f6kenini ara\u015ft\u0131rmak gerekir. \u00c7erkes ad\u0131; M.\u00d6. 6. y\u00fczy\u0131lda Bat\u0131 Kafkasya&#8217;da Karadeniz k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131nda oturanlara Yunanl\u0131lar taraf\u0131ndan verilmi\u015f olan &#8221;Kerket&#8221;ad\u0131ndan do\u011fmu\u015ftur. Bu zamanda Karadeniz k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131nda oturanlar Adigeler, Wub\u0131hlar ve Abhazlard\u0131r. Milattan \u00f6nce Kafkasya&#8217;n\u0131n Karadeniz k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131nda ticaret kolonileri kuran Yunanlar, yaln\u0131zca Adigeler, Abhazlar ve Wub\u0131hlarla ticaret yapm\u0131\u015flar ve onlara bu ad\u0131 vermi\u015flerdir. Fakat i\u00e7 k\u0131s\u0131mlarda oturan di\u011fer Kafkas halklar\u0131yla ili\u015fkileri olmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu y\u00fczden, \u00c7erkeslerden bahseden bir\u00e7ok eserde \u00c7erkes olarak sadece Adigeler, Abhazlar ve Wub\u0131hlar an\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Halbuki siyasal a\u00e7\u0131dan \u00c7erkes kelimesi ger\u00e7ek anlam\u0131na sahiptir. Siyasal a\u00e7\u0131dan \u00c7erkes kelimesi t\u00fcm\u00a0\u00a0 Kuzey Kafkasya halklar\u0131n\u0131 kapsayan birisim olarak kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r ki, do\u011frusu da budur.<\/p>\n<p>Ayn\u0131 kavram karga\u015fal\u0131\u011f\u0131na y\u00f6resel olarak da s\u0131k s\u0131k rastlanabilmektedir. \u00d6rne\u011fin \u00c7erkes denince D\u00fczce ve havalisinde sadece Adigeler, Sar\u0131kam\u0131\u015f ve civar\u0131nda Asetiler, Uzunyayla ve havalisinde Kabardeyler anla\u015f\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Bunun tek nedeni o civarlarda ba\u015fka \u00c7erkes kabilelerinin yerle\u015fik olmamas\u0131 veya say\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7ok az olmas\u0131d\u0131r. Adige ve Abhaz&#8217;dan ba\u015fka \u00c7erkes ad\u0131 duymam\u0131\u015f D\u00fczceli bir \u00c7erkes&#8217;in Khu\u015fha veya \u00c7e\u00e7en laf\u0131 duyunca bunlar\u0131n da \u00c7erkes oldu\u011funu kavrayamamas\u0131 do\u011fald\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcm bunlardan sonra varaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z sonu\u00e7 \u015fu olacakt\u0131r. \u00c7erkes kelimesinin baz\u0131 literat\u00fcrlerde kullan\u0131lan anlam\u0131yla siyasal anlam\u0131n\u0131 kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131rmamak, ulus b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc bozucu teredd\u00fctlere d\u00fc\u015fmemek gerekir. Ulusumuzun gelece\u011fi i\u00e7in ataca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z her ad\u0131m bilin\u00e7li olmal\u0131d\u0131r. Bunun i\u00e7in \u00f6ncelikle &#8221;tek ulus, tek vatan&#8221; ilkesinde birle\u015filmelidir.
