F\u0131rt\u0131nal\u0131 berbat bir gece sahil kenar\u0131nda bir adam zorlukla ilerlemektedir. O arada dikkatimizi \u00e7ekti gen\u00e7 \u00e7ocu\u011fun sol elindeki iki parma\u011f\u0131 yoktu. Herhalde \u00e7ok eskiden olmu\u015f bir olay olmal\u0131yd\u0131. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u00e7ocuk iki eksik parma\u011f\u0131na ra\u011fmen elini \u00e7ok iyi kullanabiliyordu. \u00a0\u00c7ocuk zor konu\u015fuyordu. \u2018Ne olur yard\u0131m edin gemimiz dalgalarla bo\u011fu\u015fuyor. Bir hafta boyunca kad\u0131n, \u00e7ocuk, ya\u015fl\u0131 onlarca ceset buluyorduk ve hepsini kocam\u0131n \u00f6ld\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc gencin mezar\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131na g\u00f6m\u00fcyorduk. Bir s\u00fcre sonra k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir mezarl\u0131k olu\u015ftu. Art\u0131k evden d\u0131\u015far\u0131 \u00e7\u0131km\u0131yorduk.<\/p>\n

Aradan 4-5 y\u0131l ge\u00e7ti. Bir g\u00fcn yine kap\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131nd\u0131. Kap\u0131y\u0131 a\u00e7t\u0131m. Kar\u015f\u0131mda gen\u00e7 bir \u00e7ocuk vard\u0131. Son derece k\u00f6t\u00fc \u0130ngilizce konu\u015fuyordu. \u2018Size te\u015fekk\u00fcr etmek i\u00e7in geldim. Ad\u0131m Feodor Himkoff, 5 y\u0131l \u00f6nce burada \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck bir deniz kazas\u0131 olmu\u015f. Sizler yard\u0131mlar\u0131na ko\u015fmu\u015fsunuz ama kimseyi kurtaramam\u0131\u015fs\u0131n\u0131z. Bir ricam olacak. Benim a\u011fabeyim de o gemideydi. Sol elinin iki parma\u011f\u0131 yoktu. Belki dikkatinizi \u00e7ekmi\u015ftir. Onun mezar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6sterebilir misiniz?\u2019 Kocam deh\u015fetle irkildi ve gen\u00e7 \u00e7ocu\u011fu birlikte mezara g\u00f6t\u00fcrd\u00fck. \u00c7ocuk, mezar\u0131 ziyaret ettikten sonra bize d\u00f6nd\u00fc ve \u2018a\u011fabeyime ve bu mezarda yatan insanlara sahip \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131z i\u00e7in size her g\u00fcn m\u00fckemmel yiyecekler g\u00f6nderece\u011fim\u2019 dedi ve a\u011flayarak uzakla\u015ft\u0131. O g\u00fcnden beri bu yiyecekler gelir bize.\u00a0 Bizde kap\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 biri \u00e7alsa da ona versek diye bekleriz. \u201d<\/p>\n
