Yeni d\u00f6nemin bizden y\u00f6ne estirdi\u011fi r\u00fczg\u00e2r\u0131n yard\u0131m\u0131yla,\u00a0birka\u00e7 kitap yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131 T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de: \u201cT\u00fcrkiye\u2019de Etnik Gruplar\u201d, \u201cKavimler Kap\u0131s\u0131-l\u201d ve\u00a0\u201c\u00c7erkes Tarihi\u201d. \u0130lk iki kitap da terc\u00fcmeydi. \u015eimdiki anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131mla, bu kitaplar\u0131n da veriyor olduklar\u0131 bilgiler o kadar ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 de\u011fildi ama i\u015fledikleri konular yeniydi.\u00a0O zamana kadar, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ba\u015fka etnik gruplar\u0131n ya\u015f\u0131yor olduklar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek de o kadar kolay de\u011fildi. Resm\u00ee ideoloji, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ba\u015fka etnik gruplar\u0131n ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kabul etmiyordu.\u00a0Bu sebeple, \u201cLazlar\u2019\u0131n Tarihi\u201d gibi \u201cT\u00fcrkiye\u2019de Etnik Gruplar\u201d, \u201cKavimler Kap\u0131s\u0131-l\u201d ve\u00a0\u201c\u00c7erkes Tarihi\u201d adl\u0131 kitaplar\u0131n yay\u0131nlanmas\u0131 \u00f6nemliydi. Bu kitap da, Lazlar\u0131n tarih, dil ve yeni alfabesine ili\u015fkin bilgi veriyordu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00c7erkes Tarihi\u201d adl\u0131 kitap, Kuzey Kafkasya\u2019n\u0131n b\u00fct\u00fcn halklar\u0131n\u0131 \u201c\u00c7erkes\u201d say\u0131yordu. Ancak \u201cLazlar\u2019\u0131n Tarihi\u201d adl\u0131 kitap, Lazlar\u0131 Laz de\u011fil, \u201cG\u00fcrc\u00fc\u201d say\u0131yordu.
