Mihail Chemikain 1943 y\u0131l\u0131nda Moskova’da do\u011fdu, isgal alt\u0131ndaki Do\u011fu Almanya’da b\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fc ve 1957’de Rusya’ya geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc. Ayn\u0131 y\u0131l Leningrad’da Repin Sanat Akademisine kabul edildi. Daha sonra okulun Sosyalist Realist\u00a0normlar\u0131na uymad\u0131\u011f\u0131 gerek\u00e7esiyle okuldan at\u0131ld\u0131 ve 1959’dan 1971’e kadar \u00e7e\u015fitli yerlerde i\u015f\u00e7i olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. O zamanlarda ideolojik muhaliflere uygulanan standart yollardan biri olan ak\u0131l hastanesinde mecburi tedaviye maruz b\u0131rak\u0131ld\u0131. Be\u015f y\u0131l s\u00fcreyle Hermitage m\u00fczesinin bak\u0131m ekibinde g\u00f6rev ald\u0131.Sanat\u00e7\u0131 1967 y\u0131l\u0131nda St.Petersburg grubunu kurdu, ikon resim sanat\u0131n\u0131n yeni bir formunun yarat\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131na adanan Metafiziksel sentez filozofisini geli\u015ftirdi.<\/p>\n

Chemikain 1971 y\u0131l\u0131nda Sovyet otoritelerince SSCB’n\u0131n d\u0131\u015f\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kmaya zorland\u0131. \u0130lk olarak Fransa’ya yerle\u015fti, daha sonra 1981 y\u0131l\u0131nda New York City’e hareket etti. Paris’de bulundu\u011fu s\u0131rada, bir\u00e7ok rejim muhalifinin yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi, ilk olarak Apollon-77 isimli\u00a0 post-Stalinist sanat, \u015fiir ve foto\u011fraflardan olu\u015fan bir almanak yay\u0131nlad\u0131. Chemikain ayr\u0131ca Paris’te\u00a0ya\u015fayan Vladimir Poliakoff ve Aliocha Dmitrievich isimli iki \u00c7ingene \u015fark\u0131c\u0131n\u0131n disklerini kaydedip yay\u0131nlad\u0131. Rus \u015fair Vladimir Vysotsky ile birka\u00e7 y\u0131l birlikte \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Sistematik olarak sanat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n \u015fark\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 kaydetmesi sonucu ortaya yedi setlik bir kay\u0131t ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. Chemikain g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde de\u00a0Apollon Sanat Ara\u015ft\u0131ma Vakf\u0131’n\u0131n sponsorlu\u011funda kitap ve m\u00fczik yap\u0131tlar\u0131 yay\u0131nlamaya devam etmektedir.<\/p>\n

1989’da sanat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n yap\u0131tlar\u0131n\u0131n kom\u00fcnizm sonras\u0131 Rusya’ya d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fc a\u00e7\u0131lan bir sergiyle ba\u015flad\u0131. Ad\u0131m ad\u0131m \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 Rusya’da g\u00f6stermeye devam etti. Kendisine ait olan d\u00f6rt an\u0131t St. Petersburg’ un farkl\u0131 yerlerine dikildi. Daha sonra sanat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n farkl\u0131 yap\u0131tlar\u0131 New York, San Fransisco, Venedik ve Normandiya gibi d\u00fcnyan\u0131n \u00f6nde gelen bir\u00e7ok kentinde sergilendi. Sanat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n “\u00c7ocuklar -Yeti\u015fkinlerin G\u00fcnahlar\u0131n\u0131n Kurbanlar\u0131” adl\u0131 yap\u0131t\u0131 Moskova’n\u0131n tarihi merkezi olan Bolotnaya meydan\u0131nda dikilidir.<\/p>\n

Sanat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n 1960’larda ba\u015flatt\u0131\u011f\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rma sonucu teknik, tarihsel ve filozofi kategorilerinde organize edilen ve\u00a0milyonlarca \u00e7izimden ve resimden olu\u015fan bir koleksiyon ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 kendisine 5 adet\u00a0Onursal doktora kazand\u0131rd\u0131.<\/p>\n

Chemikain’ in ilk tiyatro \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 1967’de St.Petersburg’daki Rimsky-Korsakov konservatuar\u0131ndayd\u0131. Shostakovich’in bir opera yap\u0131t\u0131n\u0131 tiyatroya uyarlam\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Oyunun \u00a0ilk gece g\u00f6steriminden hemen sonra, yap\u0131t\u0131n bir daha g\u00f6sterimi yetkililerce yasakland\u0131. Sanat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n ilk bale\u00a0yap\u0131t\u0131 olan “The Nutracker” 34 y\u0131l sonra konservatuar\u0131n tam kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131ndaki tiyatro merkezinde\u00a0sahneye kondu.<\/p>\n
