Profesyonel tiyatro 1931 y\u0131l\u0131nda Sihinvali’de dram tiyatrosu bi\u00e7imine g\u00f6re kurulmu\u015ftur. Tiyatro grubunun repertuar\u0131n\u0131n ve yarat\u0131c\u0131 ki\u015fili\u011finin olu\u015fmas\u0131 G\u00fcrcistan, Kuzey Osetya ve Rusya’n\u0131n tiyatro sanat\u0131 ve dram yazarl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile s\u0131k\u0131 s\u0131k\u0131ya ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131d\u0131r. 1939’da tiyatroya Kosta Hetagurov’un ad\u0131 verilmi\u015ftir. Burada onun “D\u00fcnya” adl\u0131 oyunu sahnelenmi\u015f (1939), “Fatima” adl\u0131 destan\u0131 tiyatroya kazand\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (1959). G\u00fcney Osetya tiyatro sahnesinde yerli yazarlar\u0131n oldu\u011fu gibi, Rus, Sovyet ve yabanc\u0131 \u00fclke drama yazarlar\u0131n\u0131n yap\u0131tlar\u0131 da sergilenmi\u015ftir. Tiyatronun geli\u015fmesinde, akt\u00f6rlerden S.Catiyeva, Z.\u00c7abiyeva, V.Murguliya, G.Kabisov, V.Kairov ve di\u011ferlerinin \u00f6nemli hizmeti olmu\u015ftur. 1935 y\u0131l\u0131nda tiyatroya G\u00fcrc\u00fc tiyatro toplulu\u011fu al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
