Turgan Ece, 1941-45 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Galatasaray\u2019\u0131n antren\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc yapan \u0130ngiliz teknik adam John Begget d\u00f6neminde Galatasaray formas\u0131 giydi. 1941-1945 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda santrhaf mevkiinde g\u00f6rev yapan Turgan Ece; Faruk Barlas, Osman \u0130ncili, Adnan \u0130ncirmen, Cemil, E\u015ffak, Mustafa, Muzaffer Toka\u00e7, Hikmet ve Arif Sevin\u00e7 gibi oyuncularla birlikte Galatasaray formas\u0131n\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131. Turgan Ece, k\u0131sa s\u00fcren futbolculuk d\u00f6neminden daha \u00e7ok Galatasaray\u2019da y\u00f6neticilik yapmas\u0131 ile \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131.<\/p>\n
1958 y\u0131l\u0131nda Ulvi Yenal ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131ndaki y\u00f6netim kurulunda genel sekreter olarak g\u00f6rev yapt\u0131. Daha sonraki Refik Selimo\u011flu y\u00f6netim kurulunda ise futbol \u015fubesi sorumlusu oldu. Suphi Batur zaman\u0131nda futbolun ba\u015f\u0131nda yine Turgan Ece vard\u0131. Ece, Selahattin Beyaz\u0131t d\u00f6neminde ise ikinci ba\u015fkan olarak g\u00f6rev yapt\u0131. Y\u0131llar s\u00fcren y\u00f6netim kurulu \u00fcyeli\u011finin ard\u0131ndan menajer olarak futbol tak\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n idaresine ge\u00e7ti. Brian Birch ile yakalanan \u00fc\u00e7 \u015fampiyonluk s\u0131ras\u0131nda da Turgan Ece menajer olarak g\u00f6rev ba\u015f\u0131ndayd\u0131.
