Babas\u0131 Mustafa, annesi Fatma Akyol’dur. \u0130lkokul, ortaokul ve lise \u00f6\u011frenimini Yozgat’ta tamamlad\u0131.<\/span><\/p>\n \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi Hukuk Fak\u00fcltesi’ni bitirdi. Yazarl\u0131k mesle\u011fine 1977 y\u0131l\u0131nda Herg\u00fcn gazetesinde ba\u015flad\u0131. 12 Eyl\u00fcl 1980 darbesi \u00f6ncesinde Milliyet\u00e7i Hareket Partisi’nin MHP y\u00f6netiminde bulundu. Darbe sonras\u0131nda tutukland\u0131 ve uzunca bir s\u00fcre Mamak Cezaevi’nde yatt\u0131.<\/p>\n Askeri mahkemede yarg\u0131land\u0131 ve beraat etti. Yank\u0131 dergisinde, Terc\u00fcman ve Meydan gazetelerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. 80’li y\u0131llar\u0131n ortalar\u0131ndan itibaren T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7isi \u00e7izgiden uzakla\u015farak muhafazakar-liberalizme y\u00f6neldi. Eserleri \u00d6d\u00fclleri 1946 yılında Yozgat’ta doğdu. Babası Mustafa, annesi Fatma Akyol’dur. İlkokul, ortaokul ve lise öğrenimini Yozgat’ta tamamladı. İstanbul Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi’ni bitirdi. Yazarlık mesleğine 1977 yılında Hergün gazetesinde başladı. 12 Eylül 1980 darbesi öncesinde Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi’nin MHP yönetiminde bulundu.
