T\u00fcrkiye’ye d\u00f6n\u00fcnce Y\u00fcksek Ziraat Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc \u00f6\u011frenim \u00fcyeli\u011fine tayin edildi.<\/p>\n

Ankara \u00dcniversitesi fen Fak\u00fcltesi Botanik Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc’nde do\u00e7ent ve profes\u00f6r oldu.<\/p>\n

Yurt i\u00e7inde yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 gezi intibalar\u0131n\u0131 deneme t\u00fcr\u00fcnde yazd\u0131.<\/p>\n

Karaman’da doğdu. İstanbul Yüksek Ziraat Mektebi’ni bitirdikten sonra (1927), Almanya’da Bonn Üniversitesi’nde doktora yaptı (1933). Türkiye’ye dönünce Yüksek Ziraat Enstitüsü öğrenim üyeliğine tayin edildi. Ankara Üniversitesi fen Fakültesi Botanik Enstitüsü’nde doçent ve profesör oldu. Yurt içinde yaptığı gezi intibalarını deneme türünde yazdı. Eserleri: Anadolu Manzaraları (1957), KurakÇorak (1962), Alıç Ağacı ile Sohbetler
