Ama onlar\u0131n toplumsal \u00f6zellikleri hakk\u0131nda yeterli bilgi sahibi de\u011fildir. \u00c7erkesler bize Osmanl\u0131\u2019dan kalan bir toplumsal mirast\u0131r. \u00c7erkeslerin anavatan\u0131 Kafkasya\u2019d\u0131r. Kafkasya, tarih boyunca hep \u00e7e\u015fitli devletlerin egemenlik kavgalar\u0131n\u0131n verildi\u011fi bir co\u011frafi b\u00f6lgenin ad\u0131d\u0131r. Bat\u0131da Karadeniz, do\u011fuda Hazar Denizi, g\u00fcneyde T\u00fcrkiye, \u0130ran, Azerbaycan, Kuzeyde ise, Rusya yer al\u0131yor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesler 1860&#8217;larda bitip t\u00fckenmeyen Osmanl\u0131-Rus sava\u015flar\u0131nda Osmanl\u0131\u2019dan yana tav\u0131r al\u0131rlar. Bu sava\u015fta Osmanl\u0131lar yenilince onlar\u0131n taraf\u0131n\u0131 tutan \u00c7erkesler, Kafkasya\u2019dan zorunlu g\u00f6\u00e7e ba\u015flarlar. G\u00f6\u00e7, Anadolu\u2019ya, Balkanlara ve \u00dcrd\u00fcn y\u00f6n\u00fcne gider. M\u0131s\u0131r ve Suriye\u2019yi de kapsar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesler, Grek mitolojisi kaynaklar\u0131 Sindo-Meot kavimlerinden olduklar\u0131n\u0131, \u00c7erkes ad\u0131n\u0131n da Kerket\u2019ten t\u00fcredi\u011fini yazarlar. Kendilerine Adigeler de diyen \u00c7erkesler, Adige kelimesinin, \u00f6b\u00fcr taraf, Karadeniz taraf\u0131nda oturanlar, Adigeyliler, Karadenizliler anlam\u0131na geldi\u011fini ifade ediyorlar.<br \/>\n1860\u2019daki Osmanl\u0131-Rus Sava\u015f\u0131 ard\u0131ndan 1868\u2019de \u00c7erkes beylerini dize getirmek i\u00e7in yap\u0131lan reformlarla s\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Bu durumunda g\u00f6\u00e7e kat\u0131l\u0131mda etkisinin oldu\u011fu g\u00f6zleniyor. Kafkasya\u2019daki \u00c7erkes n\u00fcfusun %80\u2019i bu zorunlu g\u00f6\u00e7e tabi olur. Kaynaklar\u0131n verdi\u011fi bilgilere g\u00f6re; 500 bin ile 1.500 bin aras\u0131 ki\u015fi g\u00f6\u00e7e kat\u0131l\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesya\u2019da ya\u015fanan bu g\u00f6\u00e7 olay\u0131 d\u00fcnyada ender rastlanan bir g\u00f6\u00e7t\u00fcr. Bug\u00fcn bile anavatandan daha \u00e7ok \u00c7erkes anavatan d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda ya\u015famaktad\u0131r. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ya\u015fayan \u00c7erkes say\u0131s\u0131 bile anavatan Kafkasya\u2019dan daha \u00e7oktur.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesleri; sosyolojik olarak bug\u00fcn bile hen\u00fcz millet ya da milliyet olarak nitelemek zor g\u00f6z\u00fck\u00fcyor. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u00c7erkes adeta bir \u00fcst kimliktir. Bu \u00fcst kimlik ya da \u015femsiye alt\u0131nda 50 civar\u0131nda boy var. Bunlardan baz\u0131lar\u0131; Abhaz, Oset, Wub\u0131h, Kaberdey Balkar, Shapsugh, \u00c7e\u00e7en, Bjedugh, Besleney, Cemguy, \u00c7e\u00e7en v.s. adlar\u0131n\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131yor. \u00c7erkes diye bir millet ya da milliyet yok. Bu sayd\u0131\u011f\u0131m ve sayamad\u0131\u011f\u0131m b\u00fct\u00fcn boylar d\u0131\u015fa kar\u015f\u0131 kendilerine \u00c7erkes diyorlar. Ama kendi aralar\u0131nda boy adlar\u0131 \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor.<br \/>\n\u00c7erkesce diye konu\u015fulan bir dilde yoktur. Ad\u0131 ge\u00e7en t\u00fcm boylar\u0131n kendi ana dili var. Kendi aralar\u0131nda dil bilenleri birbiri ile anla\u015f\u0131yorlar. Ama ortak bir dilleri yok. Rusya\u2019dakilerin ortak dili Rus\u00e7a, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019dekilerin ortak dili T\u00fcrk\u00e7e, Suriye\u2019dekilerin ortak dili Arap\u00e7a veya Frans\u0131zca, \u00dcrd\u00fcn\u2019dekilerin Arap\u00e7a v.s.dir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesce diye ortak bir dil hen\u00fcz olu\u015fmam\u0131\u015f. Bu durum \u015f\u00f6yle olabilirdi veya olur. Ya bu boy dillerinden biri t\u00fcm \u00c7erkes boylar\u0131n\u0131n ortak dili olabilirdi veya olabilir. Ya da boy dillerinin her biri ayr\u0131 ayr\u0131 dil olur. Ayr\u0131 etnik yap\u0131lar olu\u015fturur.<\/p>\n<p>K\u0131sa zamanda bu iki olas\u0131l\u0131kta zor g\u00f6z\u00fck\u00fcyor. \u00c7erkeslerin tarihlerinde alfabe \u00e7ok de\u011fi\u015fmi\u015f. Kafkasya mitolojide diller \u00fclkesi olarak tan\u0131t\u0131l\u0131yor. Kafkasya\u2019da ki \u00c7erkesya bu durum i\u00e7in tipik bir \u00f6rnek. Her boyun, kabilenin bir ayr\u0131 dili var. Adeta her k\u00f6y\u00fcn ayr\u0131 bir dili var. \u00c7o\u011funun ad\u0131 literat\u00fcrde bile yok.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesler, co\u011frafi olarak iki b\u00f6lgede bulunuyor. \u2018KuzeyKafkasya ve G\u00fcney Kafkasya. Kuzey Kafkasya\u2019da; Abhazlar, Adigeler, Wub\u0131hlar, Kaberdeyler, \u00c7e\u00e7enler, Da\u011f\u0131stanl\u0131lar, Osetler, Kara\u00e7aylar v.s. G\u00fcney Kafkasya\u2019da ise; G\u00fcrc\u00fcler, Lazlar, Ermeniler ve bu b\u00f6lgede ya\u015fayan di\u011fer \u00c7erkes boylar\u0131. Adige etnik k\u00f6kenli halklar olarak ise; Shapsughlar, Abhazlar, Bjedughlar, Kaberdeyler, Cemguylar ve Besleneyler say\u0131l\u0131yor. \u00d6rne\u011fin; \u00c7erkes Ethem Adigelerin Shapsugh boyunun Dipsow ailesine mensuptur. \u00dc\u00e7 ku\u015fak \u00c7erkes, Rusya\u2019ya kar\u015f\u0131 \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck ve ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131zl\u0131k i\u00e7in sava\u015ft\u0131. Bu uzun ve kanl\u0131 sava\u015fta yakla\u015f\u0131k bir milyona yak\u0131n \u00c7erkes \u00f6ld\u00fc. Anadolu, Balkanlar, Suriye ve \u00dcrd\u00fcn\u2019e gidenlerinde bir k\u0131sm\u0131 yollarda \u00f6ld\u00fc. Bug\u00fcn \u00dcrd\u00fcn\u2019de yakla\u015f\u0131k 60 bin, Suriye\u2019de 40 bin, \u0130srail\u2019de ise 5 bin civar\u0131nda \u00c7erkes ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 tahmin edilmektedir. Balkanlar\u2019dakiler ise Avrupa devletlerinin istememesi \u00fcst\u00fcne tekrar Anadolu\u2019ya s\u00fcr\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Bu s\u0131rada da on binlerce \u00c7erkes yollarda \u00f6lm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p><b>OSMANLI \u00c7ERKES \u0130L\u0130\u015eK\u0130LER\u0130<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n\u00dcrd\u00fcn\u2019e, Suriye\u2019ye giden \u00c7erkesler gibi Osmanl\u0131\u2019ya gelenlerde k\u0131sa zamanda Saray ile iyi ili\u015fkiler kurmay\u0131 ba\u015farm\u0131\u015f ve devlet erkinde yeralm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Yakla\u015f\u0131k 500 y\u0131ld\u0131r T\u00fcrkmenlerle didi\u015fmeyi kendine meslek edinen Osmanl\u0131 y\u00f6netimi, Osmanl\u0131-Rus Sava\u015f\u0131\u2019nda kendi saf\u0131nda yer alan \u00c7erkeslere devletin kap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u0131sa zamanda \u00c7erkesler Osmanl\u0131 Saray\u0131\u2019n\u0131n y\u00f6netiminde yer almay\u0131 ba\u015farm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesler \u00fclkenin; Bolu, Adapazar\u0131, Bilecik, Bursa, Bal\u0131kesir, Eski\u015fehir, Manisa ve bu sayd\u0131\u011f\u0131m illerin bir\u00e7ok il\u00e7esine oldu\u011fu gibi Orta Anadolu\u2019da da ba\u015fka Kayseri-Uzunyayla olmak \u00fczere Adana, Sivas, Tokat, Sinop, Amasya, \u00c7orum, Yozgat, Mara\u015f, Samsun gibi yerle\u015fmelerine yerle\u015ftirilmi\u015flerdir.<\/p>\n<p>Bug\u00fcn T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de \u00c7erkeslerin n\u00fcfusunun yakla\u015f\u0131k bir milyondan ba\u015flamak \u00fczere \u00e7e\u015fitli rakamlar verildi\u011fini g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. 1970\u2019li y\u0131llarda yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u00f6ylenen bir ara\u015ft\u0131rmaya g\u00f6re \u00fclkemizde 900 civar\u0131nda \u00c7erkes k\u00f6y\u00fc bulundu\u011fu ifade edilmektedir. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ya\u015fayan bug\u00fcnk\u00fc \u00c7erkes n\u00fcfusunun da anavatanlar\u0131 Kafkasya\u2019dan daha fazla oldu\u011fu biliniyor. Bu say\u0131 ise tahminen 1 milyon n\u00fcfus civar\u0131ndad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>S.S.C.B. d\u00f6neminde kurulan \u00c7erkes-Adigey \u00d6zerk B\u00f6lgesi 1924\u2019e kadar Kuban Eyaletine, 1934\u2019e kadar Kuzey Kafkasya eyaletine, 1937\u2019ye kadar Azak Eyaletine, 1991\u2019e kadar ise Krasnodar Eyaletine ba\u011fl\u0131 kal\u0131r. 1991\u2019de ise Rusya Federasyonu\u2019na ba\u011flan\u0131r. Kara\u00e7ay \u00c7erkes Cumhuriyeti, Kaberdey Balkar Cumhuriyeti, Abhazya Cumhuriyeti\u2019nin kaderi de benzer \u015fekilde geli\u015fmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>Osmanl\u0131 ile iyi ili\u015fkilerini feodal ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131k vefa yi\u011fitlik temalar\u0131 ile a\u00e7\u0131klayan \u00c7erkesler aras\u0131nda; Soylular, K\u00f6yl\u00fcler ve K\u00f6leler kadim s\u0131n\u0131flamas\u0131n\u0131n baz\u0131 izlerinin bug\u00fcn bile g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc belirtilirse abart\u0131lm\u0131\u015f say\u0131lmaz. Bug\u00fcn bile, her \u00c7erkes nerede ise \u00e7o\u011funlukla hangi soya boya ait oldu\u011funu bilir. Ayn\u0131 soydan herkes birbirinin akrabas\u0131 say\u0131l\u0131r. Ama aralar\u0131nda evlenme yasa\u011f\u0131 uygulan\u0131r. Soylular, k\u00f6lelerle v.s. evlenemez. Bu anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n bug\u00fcn bile izleri g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkeslerin \u0130slamiyet ile ili\u015fkileri Osmanl\u0131 ile ili\u015fkilerle birlikte olur. Buda y\u0131l olarak yakla\u015f\u0131k 1600-1700 y\u0131llar\u0131nda olur. \u00c7erkesler \u00f6nceleri \u00e7ok tanr\u0131l\u0131 dinlere inan\u0131rlar. Bunu H\u0131ristiyanl\u0131k izler. 1700\u2019lerde baz\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerde H\u0131ristiyanl\u0131k baz\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerde ise ya\u015fayan Animizin yerini \u0130slamiyet\u2019e b\u0131rak\u0131r.<br \/>\n\u00c7erkesler, \u0130slamiyet ile Osmanl\u0131\u2019n\u0131n Hanefi \u0130slami resmi mezhebi olarak tan\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00f6nemde tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131 i\u00e7in do\u011fal olarak Hanefi \u0130slam&#8217;\u0131 benimserler. Ama anavatandakilerin \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu H\u0131ristiyan\u2019d\u0131r. Son y\u0131llarda anavatanda da \u00c7erkeslerin \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu \u0130slamiyet\u2019i kabul etmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p><b>CUMHUR\u0130YET D\u00d6NEM\u0130NDE \u00c7ERKESLER<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n\u00c7erkesler, Anadolu\u2019nun 140 y\u0131ll\u0131k misafirleridir. 1860 y\u0131l\u0131ndan \u00f6nce anavatanlar\u0131 Kafkasya\u2019da ya\u015f\u0131yorlar. \u00c7erkesler kendilerini \u201cT\u00fcrk\u201d olarak kabul etmiyor. Ya\u015fl\u0131 ve okuma-yazmas\u0131 olmayan \u00c7erkesler T\u00fcrk\u00e7e bilmiyorlar. Kendilerini T\u00fcrk ya da Rus olarak g\u00f6rm\u00fcyorlar. Biz \u201c\u00c7erkes&#8217;iz\u201d ya da \u201cAdige&#8217;yiz\u201d diyorlar. Bundan sonra ise hangi boya ya da soya ba\u011fl\u0131 ise o soy ad\u0131 ile kendilerini tan\u0131t\u0131yorlar. Asetin&#8217;im, Abhaz&#8217;\u0131m, \u00c7e\u00e7en&#8217;im, Kaberdey&#8217;im v.s.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesler, T\u00fcrkler ile olan 140 y\u0131l\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k 60 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 Osmanl\u0131 d\u00f6neminde ya\u015fam\u0131\u015flar 80 y\u0131l\u0131 a\u015fk\u0131n bir zamand\u0131r da cumhuriyet d\u00f6neminde ya\u015f\u0131yorlar. \u00c7erkesler 140 y\u0131ld\u0131r esas olarak Osmanl\u0131 ve cumhuriyet y\u00f6netimi ile iyi ili\u015fkiler i\u00e7inde bulunuyorlar. Bu uyumlu ili\u015fki Kurtulu\u015f Sava\u015f\u0131 \u015fartlar\u0131nda \u201cAnzavur Ahmet\u201d ve \u201c\u00c7erkes Ethem Olay\u0131\u201d nedeni ile k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir sars\u0131nt\u0131 ge\u00e7irse de fazla uzun s\u00fcrmedi. Merkezi otorite ile ili\u015fkiler d\u00fczeldi.<\/p>\n<p>Bu ya\u015fanan 140 y\u0131lda \u00c7erkesler Osmanl\u0131 ile kurduklar\u0131 iyi ili\u015fkileri Cumhuriyet d\u00f6neminde de devam ettirdiler. Osmanl\u0131 ile kurulan iyi ili\u015fkiler sonucu Osmanl\u0131\u2019da hem asker hem de sivil b\u00fcrokraside \u00f6nemli mevkilere geldiler. 1. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 ve ard\u0131ndan Kurtulu\u015f Sava\u015f\u0131 \u015fartlar\u0131 geldi\u011finde Mustafa Kemal ve \u00e7evresinde hayli \u00c7erkes k\u00f6kenli asker-sivil b\u00fcrokrat devlet y\u00f6netiminde yer alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Bu daha sonrada devam etti. Bunlardan baz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 saymak gerekirse; Rauf Orbay, Ali Fuat Cebesoy, General Cemil Cahit Poydemir, Recep Peker, Bekir Sami Kunduk, \u0130brahim Sureyya Yi\u011fit, \u00d6mer M\u00fcmtaz Tanbiy, Hakk\u0131 Behi\u00e7, Te\u015fkilat\u0131 Mahsusa\u2019n\u0131n kurucusu Ku\u015f\u00e7uba\u015f\u0131 E\u015fref, Mustafa Kemal ile Amasya bulu\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftiren Karzeg Salih Pa\u015fa, Yusuf \u0130zzet Pa\u015fa, Hakk\u0131 M\u00fcnse, Ali Sait Akbaytogan, Deli Halit Pa\u015fa, Salih Berzeg Pa\u015fa v.s.<\/p>\n<p>Kurtulu\u015f Sava\u015f\u0131 tarihinde; \u0130ngilizlerin y\u00f6nlendirmesi sonucu; \u201c\u015eark\u0131 Garip \u00c7erkesleri Temini Hukuk Cemiyeti\u2019nin 19 y\u00f6reden 17 ayr\u0131 kabileden temsilcinin 24 Ekim 1921\u2019de \u0130zmir\u2019de yap\u0131lan, Yunan \u0130\u015fgali\u2019ni \u00f6ven ve \u0130ttihat Terakki\u2019yi ele\u015ftiren toplant\u0131 say\u0131lmazsa \u00c7erkesler Kuvay-i Milliye\u2019nin yan\u0131nda yer alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Osmanl\u0131\u2019dan \u00f6nemli ayr\u0131cal\u0131klar elde etmi\u015f \u00c7erkesler i\u00e7in Osmanl\u0131\u2019ya, hilafete, saltanata kar\u015f\u0131 tav\u0131r almak kolay olmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Anzavur Ahmet Olay\u0131; Padi\u015faha, hilafete, saltanata ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131zl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 ya da sadakati g\u00f6steren bir davran\u0131\u015f olsa gerektir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkesler, bug\u00fcn baz\u0131 kaynaklar\u0131n yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131na g\u00f6re bir milyon n\u00fcfusu olan Osmanl\u0131 ile kurulan iyi ili\u015fkileri Cumhuriyet d\u00f6neminde de s\u00fcrd\u00fcren merkezi otorite ile uyumlu kendi anavatan\u0131ndan \u00e7ok \u00fclkemizde ya\u015famay\u0131 tercih etmi\u015f bir toplumdur.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7erkeslerin Osmanl\u0131\u2019da oldu\u011fu gibi Cumhuriyet d\u00f6neminde de devleti sahiplenme konusunda, devletimizi ve \u00fclkemizi sevme, sayma konusunda ayn\u0131 \u00f6zelliklerini devam ettirdiklerini s\u00f6yleyebiliriz.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dclkemizde ya\u015fayan \u00c7erkeslerin 140 y\u0131lda \u00c7erkes olmaktan \u00e7ok T\u00fcrkle\u015ftikleri de s\u00f6ylenebilir. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u00c7erkes n\u00fcfusun %80\u2019inin \u00c7erkesce yerine T\u00fcrk\u00e7e\u2019yi kulland\u0131klar\u0131 ve anadili olan \u00c7erkesce\u2019yi konu\u015fma i\u015fini %20\u2019lik ya\u015fl\u0131 kesime b\u0131rakt\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 yazarsak bu abart\u0131 say\u0131lmaz. Bu nedenle son g\u00fcnlerde TRT taraf\u0131ndan Radyo ve TV\u2019de ba\u015flayan \u00c7erkesce anadilde yap\u0131lan yay\u0131nlar ba\u015flay\u0131nca baz\u0131 \u00c7erkesler bile \u015fa\u015f\u0131r\u0131p kalm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Yay\u0131nlara ilgi ise beklenenin \u00e7ok alt\u0131nda olmu\u015ftur.<br \/>\n\u00dclkemizin toplumsal renklerinden birini olu\u015fturan \u00c7erkezlerin az\u0131nl\u0131k bir toplumsal kesim oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyebiliriz. Ama olduk\u00e7a \u015fansl\u0131, adeta ayr\u0131cal\u0131kl\u0131 bir az\u0131nl\u0131k ya da toplumsal rengimiz oldu\u011funu da ifade edebiliriz.
